Solaris Internals (2nd Edition) Chinese Version Published

Hi all,

It is my great pleasure to let you know that the Chinese version of Solaris Internals (2nd Edition) is now available in bookstores in China. The Chinese version of its companion, Solaris Performance and Tools, is also published at the same time. Chinese developers can now order these two books online at 60 CNY (8 USD) and 36 CNY (4 USD) respectively.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to the OpenSolaris User Group in Beijing. Without the collective effort of this team the Chinese version of these two books would not be possible. In particular, I would like to say thank you to Siyuan Tian (a former employee of Sun, now an employee of IBM) for his leadership in this project. Siyuan Tian devoted a lot of time to this project even after he joint IBM. Also I would like to say thank you to Sin-Yaw Wang, Matt Thompson, Mike Hayden, Melanie Gao, Jason Tong, and Joey Guo for overseeing this project for the past two years. It is their consistent commitment and support that keeps this project moving.

Currently there are 7 books on Solaris available for developers in China, as below:
